Qatar's new law to protect the Arabic language

 The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued Law No 7 of 2019 on the protection of the Arabic language.

 The law came into force on January 14, 2019 in the aim of protecting the language. The use of Arabic will be mandatory the parties concerned, including ministries, government agencies, and public institutions will be required from now on to use Arabic in any mean of communication as well as official documents and state legislations.
